We want to let our patrons know that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. For the health and safety of the community The Bell House is closed until further notice. We will continue to follow all city and state guidelines and will reopen when it’s safe for our patrons and the community at large.
We are working diligently with artists and their teams to reschedule as much of our calendar as possible. The process of rescheduling our calendar is complex and will take some time to complete. As timelines continue to evolve and entire tours are being rebuilt, we appreciate your continued patience. We assure you that if you have tickets to an event that has been impacted, you will be notified.
For Patrons with tickets to canceled shows, you will be notified and your tickets will be automatically refunded within 30 days of the cancellation.
For Patrons with tickets to a show that has been rescheduled or postponed, you will receive notification of a new date as soon as it is confirmed. Hang on to your tickets, they will be honored for the new date. If the show you have tickets to is currently described as “Postponed” on our calendar, then we are still in the process of rescheduling that show and confirming its new date.
Like all New Yorkers, we are struggling to meet the day to day challenges of this new reality. Employees in the bar, restaurant and live event industries were hit especially hard by this mandated shutdown.
Since then, we have had to lay off over 50 staff members. These are the people who help make The Bell House and Union Hall two of New York City’s most memorable live event venues; from our amazing bartender and barback staff, to our skilled sound techs, to the smiling faces of our door staff! These are the people who are being most impacted by this devastating turn of events.
We know that everyone is affected by these terrible circumstances but we are hoping that you might be in a position to help. 100% of funds raised will go directly to the bartenders and barbacks, floor managers, sound techs, door and ticketing staff, and porters.
