Average Jo
Average Jo is currently a resident DJ at Submit Hill & Dale, Den at Open House, The Rosemont, Henrietta Hudson, and has been the music producer and dj for the immersive dance theater group, The Dance Cartell, for the last five years. They are also the DJ and music producer for another immersive production, Shasta Geaux Pop which was recently featured in The Public Theater's Under The Radar Festival. DJ Avg Jo was recently nominated for three Go Magazine Reader's Choice Nightlife Awards for Best Hip Hop DJ, Best House DJ and Best Mixes, winning in the Best Mixes category. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Horrorchata is a drag queen, event producer, fashion icon and DJ extraordinaire living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She is the founder of Be Cute, Brooklyn’s biggest underground queer dance party and the wonderful YAS MAMA and is the co-founder of Bushwig! Bushwig is the only drag festival in Brooklyn and the festival to which Lady Bunny herself passed down the Wigstock torch. Horrorchata has DJ’d for hundreds of parties across the United States and Europe, including the legendary Tranny Olympics in London. Bringing you Brooklyn freaky clown Latina drag, Horrorchata has captivated audiences around the world. She was named one of the top 100 most influential people in Brooklyn magazine and previously won “Drag Queen of the Year” at the Brooklyn Nightlife Awards

Ushka is a Sri Lankan-born, Brooklyn-based deejay traversing genres across electronic global bass music. She is a member of Dutty Artz and one half of iBomba, a Brooklyn-based duo and party that has thrown immigrant and people of color-centered parties for the last five years. She deejays from the perspective of a dancer, blending a wide range of music from soca to cumbia, hip hop to south asian rhythms, baltimore/jersey club to rasterinha, vogue cuts to kuduro, azonto to african house for a wide audience.
