The Occasionalists present their Third Annual Rocky Horror Picture Revue and Live Karaoke Halloween Extravaganza. Our Wildest and Most Untamed version yet! Two complete live karaoke sets. Special guest singers but none more special than you! Come Sing on the big stage... or just do the Time Warp like it's 1976. Complete with film clips, shadow casting, and a Costume Contest at intermission with big prizes!. So pull out those garters, lipstick and corsets to be the sweetest transvestite you can be!

And Dammit, Janet, the show benefits the Ali Forney Center, advocating for homeless LGBTQ youth and The Center for Anti-Violence Education, which provides education, physical empowerment and leadership development for underserved communities Check them out at http://www.aliforneycenter.org and http://caeny.org. Ticket proceeds will be donated to these fine groups.

The Occasionalists are a Brooklyn-based band of multi-instrumentalists specializing in live karaoke. Since the election, the band has dedicated itself to Live Karaoke for the Resistance, benefiting organizations including Planned Parenthood to Make the Road to the ACLU and others. We recently headlined Brad Lander’s Get Organized BK’s Civic Festival at the Prospect Park Bandshell . The Occasionalists are: John Allgood (guitar, bass, keyboards), John Marshall (keyboards, drums, bass, guitar) Barry Stelboum (drums, guitar, bass) and Mark Vincent (guitar, bass). Joined by Greg Vegas on sax (Monsterland, Savak), Susie Greenebaum on violin (Dirty Waltz Band) and Kirsten Riley on drums (Donut City, Lions at Your Door).
