Political Subversities
Political Subversities
Featured on MSNBC, HuffingtonPost, BuzzFeed, Gawker and all over the internet, Political Subversities creates comedy about politics, culture and current events. Their mainstay is a live show that has been presented at NYC venues like The PIT, The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, Ars Nova and Joe's Pub.

Political Subversities' YouTube Channel features topical sketches, recurring characters and ridiculous music videos. PoliSub's videos have been featured on Huffington Post, Gawker, The Apiary, BuzzFeed, Ology, and on countless other blogs and sites.

Political Subversities' live performance is a musical-sketch comedy show that serves up a spectacular roast of politics and pop-culture; a barrage of satirical sketches, political love songs, gangsta raps, Broadway-worthy show stoppers, and cultural assassinations. Tight harmonies, sharp choreography, smart writing and a cast that actually looks like the country they love to rip to pieces, makes Political Subversities a must see! Every performance of the show contains new material. Political Subversities has been performing on a regular basis since 2009 at venues like Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, 92Y Tribeca, UCBT and The PIT. The show was conceived in 2006 by Obie winning, Tony nominated composer/writer/director Elizabeth Swados.
