Whiplash
Whiplash
Whiplash is celebrating its 10th anniversary at The Bell House with some of our favorite comedians who have performed on the show throughout the years and a few special surprise guests!
Gary Gulman
Gary Gulman
Gary Gulman is a stand-up comedian who lives in New York City. Originally from Boston, Gary has been a scholarship college football player, an accountant, a barista, a doorman, a waiter and a high school teacher. Now he is one of the most popular touring comics and one of only a handful of comedians to perform on every single late night comedy program. "Gary will be the next giant ex-Bostonian comic to break huge, CK, Burr, Gulman: You heard it here first" raved the Village Voice. He's made three TV specials, and three albums. Gary marked his 20-year anniversary in stand-up with the "It's About Time Tour," selling out theaters throughout the country. It's no wonder the New York Times wrote "Gary is finally being recognized as one of the country's strongest comedians."
Janeane Garofalo
Janeane Garofalo
(Wet Hot American Summer, Broad City)
Actress and Comedian Janeane Garofalo has been an American institution since she burst on the scene in 1992.

In addition to acting in film and television, Janeane is an outspoken activist, spoken word performer and stand-up comedy entertainer known and respected around the country, and the world. As well, she was instrumental in the successful launching of the first liberal radio network, Air America Radio, where she hosted her own talk show, "The Majority Report." A lightning rod for controversy, Janeane's well informed opinions and unflinching honesty have inspired laughs, as well as striking a chord with the left, right and everyone in between. She is a noted peace activist.

Janeane lives in New York and Los Angeles.

Jon Glaser
Jon Glaser
Jon Glaser is an actor, comedian and writer. He created and starred in Neon Joe Werewolf Hunter, a mini-series which recently aired on adult swim. He played Councilman Jamm in Parks and Recreation, and Laird on Girls. He was an Emmy nominated writer for Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Inside Amy Schumer, the creator and star of the adult swim series Delocated, and the author of My Dead Dad Was in ZZ Top.
Wyatt Cenac
Wyatt Cenac
Emmy and WGA Award winner Wyatt Cenac is a NY-based stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Armed with an “attentive, inquisitive perspective” (AV Club) and an “hilariously understated style” (Paste Magazine), he has become a favorite of audiences and critics alike. Wyatt’s second hour standup special, Brooklyn, which he also directed, premiered on Netflix in October 2014 and was also released as a limited edition vinyl-only album of the same title on Other Music. The hour was listed as one of the “11 Best Standup Specials of 2014” by Vulture and was praised as “some of his best, funniest insights” by The AV Club. Wyatt’s first hour special Comedy Person premiered on Comedy Central in May 2011, earning him a spot on Paste Magazine’s “Best Comedians” list of that year. The album of the special was named one of the “Best Comedy Albums of 2011” by Huffington Post.

From 2008 to 2012, Wyatt was a writer and popular correspondent on the hit latenight Comedy Central series The Daily Show with Jon Stewart where he earned 3 Emmy Awards and one WGA award. He also spent three seasons writing for FOX’s King of the Hill. On the big screen, Wyatt has appeared in Mike Birbiglia’s acclaimed film Sleepwalk With Me, David Cross’ feature Hits, Darren Grodsky’s independent film Growing Up (and Other Lies) and Barry Jenkins’ Medicine for Melancholy, which was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards. He also served as Executive Producer alongside Jay-Z on the feature An Oversimplification of Her Beauty, which screened at Sundance in 2012 to rave reviews, with The New York Times describing the film as “a most lovely and meticulously handmade hodgepodge of art and feeling.”

Wyatt has appeared on IFC’s popular TV series Maron, Adult Swim’s cult favorite The Eric Andre Show, and Comedy Central’s John Oliver’s New York Standup Show. This year he will also be Executive Producing a topical comedy series for Pivot. He is a latenight favorite, with appearances on Conan, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Last Call with Carson Daly. Wyatt performs standup to sold-out crowds nationally and internationally, and he has been featured as a performer at Bumbershoot, South By Southwest, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Bonnaroo, and the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.
Mark Normand
Mark Normand
Mark Normand is a fun-loving, New York comedian. Ok, I’m gonna brag a little here but hey, you’re on the site so that must mean you’re somewhat interested. I don’t know, I’ve just seen other comics do this. Ah screw you, I’m proud of these credits! Sorry, I got worked up there. (I just wanna be liked)

So far, Mark has done a One-Hour Comedy Central special “Don’t Be Yourself”, a Comedy Central HALF HOUR special, has appeared on TBS’s CONAN 6 times, Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Showtime’s “Live at SXSW”, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, TruTv, Best Week Ever, MTv, Last Comic Standing, @Midnight and released an album with Comedy Central records titled “Still Got It” (it’s not bad). This year, Mark took first place at the Great American Comedy Festival competition. In 2013 won Caroline’s March Madness competition, beating out 63 other comedians. And this is a real shocker for all of us, but he was also voted Village Voice’s “Best Comedian of 2013”, I know, right? In 2012, Mark appeared on “John Oliver’s New York Standup Show” on Comedy Central, and in 2011 was picked as one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch.”

Mark was born and raised in New Orleans, LA surprisingly to two normal parents. As a kid he spent most of his time shooting short films and wetting the bed. He started doing comedy right after college and quickly moved to New York. Mark now does comedy clubs and colleges across the country and has been involved in many festivals including Portland, Seattle, DC, Boston, Vancouver, Melbourne and in 2013 was featured as a New Face at the Montreal Comedy Festival.

More annoying accolades that no one really cares about: Mark was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics To Watch for the 2011 New York Comedy Festival. Mark was also named Esquire’s “Best New Comedians 2012”, Splitsider’s “Top 10 Up and Coming Comedians on Each Coast”, and Time Out New York’s “21 New York Comedy Scene Linchpins”. Whew, sorry about all that.

Also, his debut album "Dream Occupation" is available from Comedy Central Records.
