Proceeds from this event benefit Grist, a nonprofit media organization.

Grist is a solutions-oriented nonprofit media organization and a leading voice on climate, justice, and sustainability issues. Founded in 1999, we set out to change the way the story of the environment was told — to make the issues accessible and relevant, and to wake readers up to the problems confronting us. Now, with the alarm raised, we are pointing our beacon in a new direction: toward a just, sustainable future. To do this work, we will transform the story of the environment, and the story society tells itself about its future. Our motto: Less freaking out, more figuring out.
