Jena Friedman
Jena Friedman is a stand up comedian, actor, writer and director based in New York. She is currently a field producer at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and has written for Late Show with David Letterman. Her work has been featured at SXSW, The New York Fringe Festival, The Glasgow International Comedy Festival, in New York Magazine, Newsweek, Glamour, Salon, Gawker, Time Out New York and on Comedy Central.

Jean Grae is a multi-hyphenate artist whose work integrates music, comedy, and visual media. In addition to musical collaborations with The Roots, Talib Kweli, and Robert Glasper, the critically acclaimed performer, director, soundtrack composer, and writer has released nearly two dozen self-produced and engineered independent albums; her work is even archived in The Yale Anthology of Rap and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and Culture. Regular Bell House showgoers will know Grae from her Jean and John shows, with comedian John Hodgman. Pitchfork called Grae “one of the most gifted MCs ever” and describes her most recent LP Everything’s Fine as “a masterpiece of rap performance, blending dark comedy, cathartic narrative, and even vaudeville with a hip-hop soul.” As Grae says, she makes all the everything.
Aparna Nancherla
Aparna Nancherla
Aparna Nancherla is a comedian and general silly billy. Her sense of humor is dry, existential, and absurd, with notes of uncalled-for whimsy. Think a wine you didn’t order.

Currently, Aparna plays Grace the belabored HR rep on the Comedy Central show, Corporate and has also reprised her role in Season 2 of HBO’s Crashing. She was featured in the second season of Netflix’s The Standups. . Other television credits include Netflix’s Master of None and LOVE, HBO’s High Maintenance, Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer and appearing as a US correspondent for Dave’s (UK) Unspun with Matt Forde. In 2018 she makes her feature debut in the Paul Feig movie A Simple Favor. Her TV stand up appearances include CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden, TBS’s CONAN, Seeso’s stand up series Night Train with Wyatt Cenac, as well as multiple appearances on Comedy Central.

In 2016, she released her debut album, Just Putting It Out There, on Tig Notaro’s label, Bentzen Ball Records, and recorded a half hour special for Comedy Central. In that same year, Elle’s Women in Comedy Issue, featured Aparna as one of the most exciting new voices to hit the comedy scene. Aparna currently is writing and performing standup in NY, LA and all over the country!

Phoebe Robinson
Phoebe Robinson is a writer, comedian, and actress whom Vulture.com, Essence, and Esquire have named one of the top stand up comedians to watch. She has appeared on late Night with Seth Meyer’s, TBS’s Conan, Last Call with Carson Daily, and Broad City. She has also landed a reoccurring role in the new Jill Solloway Amazon pilot I Love Dick. She is also the co - creator of the hit podcast with 2 Dope Queens.
